Moore’s Bond raced bad guys in speedboats along the Grand Canal before ending in Piazza San Marco, Venice’s famous main square. But hey, it was 1963, and Sean Connery was Bond. While many of the movie’s scenes were filmed in Venice, the iconic gondola scene was completed in the studio.
